n otes on pr ojector placement a nd operation t he pr o jector uses a high-wattage lamp that becomes v ery hot during operation. please observe the following pr ecautions . 1. never place o bjects on top of t he pr o jecto r. 2. make sure ther e is an unobstructed s pace of 1,000 mm (3 feet 3 inches) or mo re ar o und the pr o- jector? s exhaust openings. 3. do not s tack pr o jector units dir ectly on t op of one another for the purpose of multiple (stacked) pr ojection. when stacking pr o jector units, be su re to pr ovide the amount of space indicated below between them. these space r equir ements also apply to installations wher e only o ne pr ojector unit is o perating at o ne time and t he o ther unit is used as a backup. 4. make sure that nothing blocks the pr ojector? s air intake and exhaust o penings. also, install the pr o- jector so that c ool or hot air fr om other air conditioning equipment does not flow dir ectly towar d the pr ojector? s air intake or exhaust o penings . 5. do not install the pr ojector in an enclosed s pace. if it is necessary to install it in an enclose d s pace, add a s eparate v entilation system. if v entilation is insuf ficient, hot air will accumulate at th e intake opening. t his may cause the pr ojector? s pr otective cir cuit to interrupt pr o jector o peration. 6. if t he pr o jector is installed in an enclosed space, ensur e that the pr ojector? s intake and exhaust o penings ar e not blocked. t ake particular car e to ensur e that hot air fr om t he exhaust openings is not s ucked into the intake openings. 7. when installing t he pr o jector in any manner o ther than floor mounting with the adjuster legs, us e the four thr eaded ceiling mount holes (scr ew diameter: m6, pr o jector interior thr ead l ength: 12 mm) to s ecure t he pr o jecto r. do not stack pr ojector units dire ctly on top of one another. 1000 mm 0 (3 ft 3 in ) or more 50 0 mm (1 ft 8 in ) or more 1000 mm 0 (3 ft 3 in ) or more 10 0 mm (4 in) or more as of august 2014 15/16 PT-EX610/ex610l lcd projectors sfl14m018
